Advanced Skin Conditioner - Poultry
Description / Dosage	Natural skin conditioning powder for poultry. Advanced Skin Conditioner is a natural product that targets skin. Skin is often overlooked in terms of its impact on bird health: healthy skin naturally repels moisture and infections, and it is impacted constantly during day-to-day activities. Just as our skin likes to be powdered, so does poultry skin. Healthy skin leads to healthy feather follicles, which grow strong and robust feathers - the primary line in a birds natural defences. The product can be used at any time on healthy skin. Signs that skin health maybe under stress can be any of the following: bird skin under the tail and around the cloaca changing colour or becoming rougher or looking folded and wrinkled, skin flakes falling off when the bird shakes and its not moulting, rough feathering, broken feathers, wearing feathers (use during peak mating periods is recommended to help minimise cockerel damage on thighs and behind the head), increased time spent preening, or featherless skin patches appearing which are not related to a moult. Regular whole bird application of conditioner powder is recommended, and use at 5 - 7 day intervals is best. The conditioner creates a "powdered bandage" barrier which prevents contamination from dust. Advanced conditioner powder wraps around the small fluffy immature sub-feathers on the feather shaft. As the powdered feathers fold down into their natural position after application, the conditioner on the skin and feather fluff is trapped. The natural oil in the ginger product massages onto the skin, and makes the sulphur glue itself to the feathers, basal follicles and skin, giving a long contact time. Naturally ocurring Zingiber fibres also help flake off dry skin, help the sulphur absorb moisture, both of which, with normal feather ruffling, loosen ectoparasites. If you are applying the conditioner where there is sparse to nil feather covering, rub the powder into the skin using your fingers. This product has a high margin of safety. Eggs laid during treatment can be used. Seek further advice if the skin quality does not improve following the use of conditioner. Do not use on wet birds. Description / Dosage	Physical barrier powder for topical application to poultry. Feather and Skin Conditioner is aimed primarily at feather strength and maintaining healthy skin. The powder mix has a gentle action and uses feathers to improve its contact time. Feathers and skin are overlooked in terms of impact on bird health. Healthy skin naturally repels moisture and infections. Day to day bird life is impacting skin constantly. Just as human hair likes to be conditioned, so do poultry feathers and skin. Healthy skin, strong feathers and healthy feather follicles, which grow strong and robust feathers - are the primary line in a birds natural defences. Barrier skin product can be used at any time on healthy skin and when bird activity, such as mating, are going to impact feather wear and tear. The vitamins and amino acids in this product combine with the AFLB Zingiber powder to assist adherence to the skin and feather fibres. The result is a widespread barrier powder, with good moisture absorbing properties. The high level of hydrolysed proteins in the powder can act as a feather strength conditioning agent. Routine whole bird application of Feather and Skin conditioner powder is recommended. Use at 5 - 7 day intervals is considered optimal, with 2 to 3 applications being best. As a guide, approximately 50gm of powder is needed to coat a large bird thoroughly. If birds are being prepared for showing then the interval can be reduced. Allfarm Levamisole Concentrate
Product Description	A broad-spectrum poultry wormer than treats 3 species of worms - Ascaridia, Heterakis and Capillaria. Withholding Periods: Meat: DO NOT USE Less than 7 days before slaughter. Eggs: No withholding period. If your poultry are only infected with Ascaridia then we recommend using Allfarm Piperazine instead. Piperazine only treats Ascaridia worms (normally the most prevalent worm genus), but it has a wider safety margin and no withholding periods. To determine if your birds have a high worm burden, and the types that are present, you can submit a faecal sample to Parasite Diagnostic Services <www.parasite.com.au>. Product Use / Dosage	Allfarm Levamisole Concentrate is administered as a single treatment. If the round worm infestation is severe we recommend the treatment be repeated 17 to 21 days later. We do not recommend treating with Levamisole Concentrate during hot weather. For flocks / larger numbers of birds: For broad spectrum – Use 36 mg per kg of bodyweight = 72 g per 1000 birds with mean weight of 2 kg per bird For low dose – use 20 mg per kg of bodyweight For Ascaridia galli only: Use 20 mg per kg of bodyweight = 40 g per 1000 birds with mean weight of 2 kg per bird. Repeat dose between 17 to 21 days later. Administer through drinking water over 6 hour period. For small numbers of birds: You need: scales, a sturdy plastic bag, icing sugar or castor sugar. recommendation: treating with levamisole is never recommended in hot weather. Weigh 15 g of Levamisole concentrate into the plastic bag. Store unused Levamisole concentrate in an air-tight bag and squeeze out air before sealing. In the same bag weight out 135 g icing sugar. Castor sugar is a suitable substitute. Use regular sugar only as a last resort. Twist the bag to make a bubble, and mix the contents inside by shaking vigorously for 5 mins. 10 g of this powder mix will treat 30 kg liveweight birds. Do not use smaller weights of mix, as the measurements become inaccurate and even mixing cannot be guaranteed. Accurately determine the combined weight of your birds (a healthy in-lay commercial layer will weigh around 2.2 kg). Weigh out 1 g powder mix for every 3 kg bird weight. Determine and measure out the amount of drinking water your birds will consume in 3-4 hours. Dissolve the mix in the water. Ensure that the product is completely dissolved and no crystals remain. Remove all regular sources of drinking water. Depriving birds of water for a few hours prior to treatment will encourage faster consumption, but be careful of dehydration on warmer days. Provide the medicated water to the birds and monitor water consumption. Restore water with fresh once the mix is consumed. If any Levamisole/sugar mix remains, discard. Do not store for later use.

Description / Dosage	Use permitted in egg production No withholding period Dosage: For Prevention: 30 g to 25 L water (240 mg / L) for 24 hrs every 4th day during periods of likely infection. For Treatment: 30 g to 25 L water (240 mg / L) continuously for 5 to 7 days; reduce to 15 g to 25 L for another 5 to 7 days; reduce to 8 g to 25 L for a further 5 to 7 days Chronic overdosing will result in birds losing muscle strength, which will be noted as lameness and twisted necks.
